The Rugby League considered the New Zealand League's request that Queensland matches be eliminated from their Australian tour, and decided to ask the New Zealand League to adhere to the original programme. FOOTBALLER DISQUALIFIED. Wellington, May 22 ; The Wellington Football Association to-night decided to disqualify S. Bolton, a Petone player, for life, and to warn him oil' all the Association's grounds, for kicking a referee, using obscene language, and wanting to fight him. NEW ZEALAND GUN CLUB. Wanganui, May 22. The Gun Club's New Zealand championship meeting concluded to-day in fair weather. J. White and R. J. King tied for the championship with nineteen birds. White winning in _ the shoot-off. Third money was divided among E. R. King, D. A. Fraser, H. Collins, E. F. Stead, H. Douglas, and L. Bailey. , „ , A- sweepstake of £1 was also fired, the first prze being divided between McKenzie, E. F. Stead, S. Porticr, D. Eraser, W. Woolven, E. R. King, H. Collins, R. Buiek, and J. Harvey, with five birds each. ASSRULTING A REFEREE. (Received 23. 10.30 a.m.) Sydney, May 23.. The Rugby League disqualified eighteen juniors for life for assaulting a referee.
