Admiral Von Rooster, at a meeting of the Navy League, sa ; d the home memhership had increased twenty per cent, in a year as compared with a forty per cent, increase in foreign leagues. Germany’s foreign trade had increased (16 per cent, since the introduction of the na’vy law. Therefore, a Hying squadron of armoured cruisers was needed in order that Germany’s power in : ght he better represented throughout the globe.
