POULTRY SHOW.

ROOT CROP EXHIBITION. Farmers and gardeners are reminded of the great root crop exhibition to be held in the Town Hall on July 3rd and 4th. Special prizes have been allotod for each of the following classes:—Best collection of swedes, best collections of mangolds, best collections of potatoes, best collection of carrots. These collections are to consist of three roots of three distinct varieties. Prize money will also lie competed for in regard to general root crops. For the most points scored in the root crop section. the winner will receive one year's subscription to the New Zealand Farmer. All the prizes are of good value and well worthy of keen competition. All information can be had from Mr C. Downey, secretary.
