HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. There was a full house ab His Majesty's Theatre last night, when the new change of pictures were screened, and judging by the free expression of appreciation' on the part of the audience, the change was one for the better. A more excellent series of pictures have seldom been shown here, and in comics, scenics, and dramas, there was a splendid showing of clever and up-to-date films. The star film was "A laic of the Wilderness," showing a glimpse of the life of the. pioneers of the West. The scene where the stockade is fittacked by Indians is vivid and realistic, and the picture is certainly the best Indian drama seen yet. A word oi praise is due to the picture, "Tweedledum and Microbes"—it is a good deal funnier than the name indicates. "Edna's Imprisonment," ".Silas Marner," and "Hungry Hearts" formed a trio of splendid dramas, the former creating quite a sensation when the Wtifo gii'l P m V s about near the big tiinVloek vault. The ever populai "Pathe Gazette" was also present this week's number including some first-rate snapshots of current events. To-night the same bill will be given.
