LATE LOCALS.
Owing to the large sale of tickets, the ladies’ committee in charge of arrangements for the Stratford Horticultural Society’s social have decided to hold a progressive euchre party simultaneously.
Just as we go to press we barn from Mr. J. B. Hine, iVx.P. for Sti afford, who interviewed the Minister on the question of the Public Works buildings for Stratford, and urged upon him" the necessity for expediting matters, that the Hon. Mr. MacDonald has sent him a telegram couched in similar terms to that received by the Mayor this morning, and published in another column.
