FOOTBALL.
ASSOCIATION. The Stratford Association Football Club started, active operations on Thursday afternoon by a good practice game. Several new members were presert, and showed promising form. With the present available talent there should be a very good team this season-. A friendly game is being arranged for next Thursday with the Kaponga team. Any Soccer players in the district are requested to communicate with Mr. .1. J. East, secretary of the Stratford Club.
