At the South Australian Jockey Club’s meeting the following was the result of the Goodwood Handicap, of 600 so vs; six hirlongs.—Musket Belle, 8.11, 1 ; Bovrosov, 8.3, 2; First Shot, 8.7, 3. Twenty-four horses started. Won comfortably by two lengths. Time, Imin 15)sec. At the Queensland Turf Club’s meeting the principal event resulted as follows: The Brisbane Thousand, of 1000 sovs; seven furlongs.—My Gavonni, 8.13, 1; Pittsworth Gun, 9.5, 2; Lord Raven, 6.9, 3. Twenty-four horses started. My Gavonni led from the half railo post. Time, Imin 29sec. An Adelaide cablegram states that at the South Australian Jockey Club’s meeting on Saturday, .the St. Leger Stakes’was won by Banffshire, Sanskrit was second, and Persian Chief third. At the Canterbury Park meeting (Sydney) on Saturday, the ex-New Zealander, Pakau, won the Hurdle Race from The Dip and Mimora. Gigli) horses started, and Pakau won easily by three lengths.
