WIVES REFUSED ADMISSION TO THE DOMINION. G OVERNMENT ADAMANT. (Received 2, 8.50 a.m.) Ottawa, May 1. The Dominion Government has refused to relax the statute in the case of two ..Hindoo women, wives of residents of Canada who re-visited India and returned with their wives. The deportation of the latter was ordered owing to not complying with the regulations providing for a continuous passage from India to Canada.
