SENTENCES FOR BIGAMY.
SIX MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT FOR MAN AND WIFE. A TARDY DIVORCE. London, April 27. Hugo Lawrence Ames, the wellknown author, and Florence Ames, who were arrested at Kensington, in March, on a charge of bigamy, have both been sentenced to s x months' imprisonment in the second division. They were married after Ames had divorced his first wife in Idaho. At the trial the wife deposed that she had no knowledge of the divorce.
