AUSTRALIA NOT PROPERLY PROTECTED.
AS REGARDS VACCINATION
(Received 2G, 9.15 a.m.) Melbourne, April 26.
Dr. Norris, director of quarantine, who has completed a tour of the world inquiring about quarantine, has presented his report. He states, regarding vaccination, that Australia is the worst protected civilised community in the world. He recommends an outlay on quarantine stations throughoul Australia of £150,000 and the immediate expenditure of £BO,OOO. Mr Tudor is placing the latter sum on the Estimates.
