I Mr. W.- P. Kirkwood returns thanks for his return as Mayor of Stratford. Particulars of Mr. T. Lama sou’s Mart sale, which takes place on Saturday, are advertised in another column of this issue. Mr. Newtn King sells 400 head of mixed cattle at Douglas on Monday, April 29th. In another column will ho found a formal notice of the result of the polling for the Mayoralty'. In another column Mr. McAllister formally returns thanks to the electors. That enterprising firm of nrapers and clothiers, R. H. White and Co., announce that they have »• en/ed another choice lot of samples if ladies’ underclothing. The firm, we understand, adhere strictly to cash trading, which they claim places them in the position to secure snips for cash.
