A tornado wrecked houses in several Louisiana towns. Many persons wore buried in the wreckage. A cloud-burst and floods accompanied the tornado. Much damage was done to crops. (Received 19, 8.55 a.m.) London, April 18.

A Belgian named Verrept had a fainting fit while aeroplaning, and fell six hundred feet, being killed. (Received 19, 9.10 a.m.) ■ Pekin, April 18. Six men have been executed for the murder of Wicks.
