At the Te Wera yards to-morrow, the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, will conduct a cattle sale. To-morrow Mr. Newton King will hold his cattle sale at Kaponga arid the sale on account of Messrs. Kirkham • and Knight, at the Douglas yards. Messrs. Matthews and Bennett will hold their Inglewood horse fair tomorrow. In another column of this issue Mr. T. Lama,son. publishes particulars 'of a cheap farm of about 60 acres, which he offers for sale. The great “Eel nquishing Sale” now being held by Mr. A. Spence, draper, of Broadway, is a big thing, and it is also really genuine. To prove this, Mr Spence to-day introduces to onr readers a four-page price-list, >n which something for everybody will be found, and which is issued as a supplement to this issue. Mr. Charles E. James, cash trader, and up-to-date tobacconist and fancy goods importer, has decided on holding his second annual stocktaking saie, when previous low prices will be knocked lower still for a ( ew weeks. The sale commences on Saturday next. ‘Hhe Glorious First of M-iv.’ is being keenly awaited by sportsmen.
