OPENING OF THE SCHOOL.
SPLENDID EVENING PROMISED
To-night the new school bunding will ho formally opened, and the event is to be fittingly celebrated by a convcrssizioue, which, being interpreted, means that the School Committee have done their best to provide an entertainment winch will give the maximum of enjoyment to everyone. I here is a splendid floor for dancing, and two pianos should provide the best of music. In the card rooms there is to be a progressive euchre tournament nith handsome prises for those v. 1.0 succeed in annexing the largest lumber of wafers. A good supper is being prepared, so that altogether the opening of our new school, the handsomest building of its kind in Taranaki, should be an event, long to ho remembered.
