Walter Bewloy, sharebroker, of New Plymouth, invites application foi shares in the Taranaki Oil Wells, Ltd. The shares are quoted on the Loudon Stock Exchange at a premium. Mr. C. N. Johnson, of New Plymouth, is well known along the coast as far as Wanganui for his artistic cabinet work. He lias recently engaged an English upholsterer, and turns out very high-class work. A notification to this effect appears in another column. The Stanley Private Hotel, at the corner of Regan and Juliet Streets, has just been very completely refurnished by Air. John Leydon, new bedsteads, bedding, furniture, linoleums, and carpets being supplied by this well-known Stratford bouse furnisher. The place is certainly as comfortable a boardinghouse as there is in town. Air R. B. Anderson is advertising in our present issue his consignment of cartridges fresh from the factory, and which are opening up in splendid condition. He also draws attention to his well known Scholefielo Goodman Gun, imported direct from Birmingham. On Friday next, April 19, Air Newton King sells 200 head of mixed cattle at Kaponga. Air. Newton King has received instructions from the mortgagee to sell allotment 2 of subdivision 12 of section 41, block 3, Ngaere Survey District, at his Mart, on Saturday, April 27th, at 2 p.m. An advertiser has a vacancy for a young gentleman hoarder.
