CONCERT AT MAHOE.
The annual concert and dance in connection with the Mahoe school was held on April 3rd. The weather v.as fine and the hall was, crowded. The first part of the concert programme wad contributed by, the school children, evidence of good work by Miss Smith (the teacher) being evident in the hoop drill given, and by Miss Astbury in the “fan song.” During an interval the prizes won during the year ware distributed by Mr D. L. A. Asi - bury, chairman of the eliom Committee. At the conclusion of IJio concert the chairman thanked the performers for their services, after wiiicii dancing was indulged ;n until about 2 o’clock, excellent music being -applied by Mr Rogers and tire Misses Rogers (2), of Stratford. A dainty supper was supplied by the ladies of the district.
