SENTENCES COMMUTED.
ON RECALCITRANT YOUTHS IN THE TERRITORIALS. i_ WHO REFUSED TO BE SWORN. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, April 3. Cabinet met yesterday and decided to commute the sentences of throe weeks’ imprisonment passed on Christchurch youths within the last few days in default of payment of fines for refusing to take the oath of allegiance under the Defence Act.
