ALL ARRANGEMENTS GOING ON WELL.

GENEROUS PRIZE LIST

All arrangements for the Stratford Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Show are progressing most satisfactorily. The oallot for North Island championship took place in Auckland last week, waen Stratford was alloted the North Island championships for barred and white Plymouth rocks. Thirty special prizes are being donated as fol-lows.-—For best Wyandotte each colour, for best Orpington each'colour, for best Harburg each colour, for best Leghorn each colour, for best Plymouth rock each colour. Specials of good value are being given for best utility breeds. Altogether the” poultry section is well catered for in specials. ! The root crop department lias also been well attended to in regard to prizes. Already such well-known breeders as A. W. Irvine (Leghorn specialist), A. E. Stonex (Orpington specialist), W. B. Worthy (Plymouth rocks) have decided to send big team’s along. A real revelation in purebred poultry breeding and exhibiting is assured. The schedules will be in the hands of the printer next wek. Already we nave had enquiries from Wellington and Auckland for them.
