1 Sydney, March 26. The Food Supply Commissioners’ interim report dealing with fish lias been tabled. It states that in the past decade prices have increased from 30 to 100 per cent. Supplies are irregular, and when there is a glut in the market the consumers do not benefit. Although they are unalblc to trace the existence of a ring, the position is thoroughly unsatisfactory. The report ? recommends the development of deep sea trawling by the Government.
The Assembly passed all stages of a Bill creating a Board to direct railway duplication and deviation works.

The Legislative Council rejected the Bill to give members of the Assembly an increase of salary on the second reading. Three distinct earth tremors were felt at Bingara on Tuesday night. (Received 28, 9.35 a.m.) Melbourne, March 28.
New regulations under the Federal Electoral Act are gazetted. They provide for compulsory enrolment.
