AUCKLAND EXHIBITION.

DECEMBER FIRST FIXED FOR THE OPENING. A GOVERNMENT GRANT. (Tor Press Association.} Auckland, March 22. The Exhibition executive met today and fixed the date for the opening of the exhibition December 1, 1913. It was decided to ask the Government for a cash grant of £2OOO. Lists of prospective guarantors wore distributed, and the committee hopes to have £SOOO guaranteed within a week. It was decided that any surplus should be spent on improving the outer Domain, where the exhibition is to be held.
