PREPAREDNESS.

ORGANISATION OF AN OVERSEA CAMPAIGN. A GIGANTIC PROPOSITION. (Received 14, 9.15 a.m.) London, March 13. The Army Estimates were challenged regarding the preparedness for war. Colonel Seely exhibited a marked envelope and offered to show it to any member of the Opposition under a pledge of secrecy. He said it contained plans for despatching one hundred and* fifty thousand troops overseas in a few days with three months’ ammunition and stores. Subsequent speakers doubted the possibility of doing this without denuding the country.
