THE CHINESE REVOLT.
YUAN-SHIH-KAI INSTALLED AS PRESIDENT • AN INAUGURAL ORGANISER. Pekin, March 11. Yuan-Shih-Kai was inaugurated as President in simple ceremonial at the Waiwnpu (Parliament), in the presence of delegates from Nanking and Wuchang. Representatives Manohus, Mongolians, Mohammedans and Thibetans were present, as well as envoys from most of the provinces and the army and navy. Many foicigners attended, though the Legations were unrepresented. Yuan-Shih-Kai, in his declaration, promised to sweep away the disadvantages of monarchism, and retire whoa the Assembly appoints a permanent president. 'JTTE CONCESSIONS VIOLATED. London, March 11. Tho Daily Mail’s Tientsin correspondent states that the Inniskillens have been ordered to march at daybreak to apprehend Chinese soldiers within the foreign concession.
