IN THE COURTS.
(Per Press Association.! Napier, March 7. At tho Supreme Court, a Maori lad, Tai Mikaere, who pleaded guilty in the lower court to a charge of forgery and uttering at Waipawa, was admitted to probation for two years. Frank Holder, charged with participating in theft from a man during a motor-car drive, was found not guilty and discharged. The hearing of the case against Alfred Robert Donaldson, charged with theft from the Hawke’s Bay Rugby Union and Napier Corporation, had not concluded when the court rose.
