DANNEVIRKE MEETING. (Per Press Association 3 Dannevirke, March 6. The autumn meeting of ihe Oanucvirke Racing' 1 Club commerced today. The weather was fine until four o’clock, when a slight shower fell. The fields were exceptionally large, averaging thirteen starters for seven events. The sum of £10,500 was put through the tote for seven races, as against £9432 for eight events on the corresponding day last year. Concluding results : Nursery Handicap.—Evadne 1, Peroneal 2, Master Kilcheran 3. All started. Won by a length. Electric Handicap.—Thrave 1, Makara 2, Septimus 3. Scratched: Psn, Wai, Ngakau and Epworth. Won by a length., Tamaki Welter.—Khamsin 1, Seatoiidale 2, Sovoney 3. Scratched: Kohinoor, Meremere, Lord Soult, and Negative. Makirikiri Hack Handicap.—Avannce 1, Ladrone 2, San Pluie 3. Scratched: Makara, Elfish, Lady Kilcheran and Kingswell. Time, Imin ISsec.
