ROOSEVELT AND THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE. /AN IRRESISTIBLE APPEAL. (By Electric Telegraph .—Copyright.) (United Press Association.) New York, March 5. Mr Roosevelt admitted that he had said he would not he a candidate again for the Presidency, but this did not mean that he would refuse nomination if it was- offered. He never had any intention of becoming a candidate, and would have adhered to that opinion, hut ihb would not ignore the voice of the people.
