ASSOCIATION MEETING. £Per Press Association. 1 ! , Rotorua; March 5. The conference to-day passed remits amending the rules for competitions. The president, Mr Boyes, presented tho star for 25 years’ service to fifteen members. He also presented to Firemen Gflberd, on behalf of bar. 'father, ex-president Gilbert! (Napier), a life membership badge of the Association. Invitations were received from Palmerston and Wanganui for the biennial demonstration and conference next year. The brigades will ballot by post.
