Finding himself in the hands of Widow Tallamanthe is stricken with fear and expects no mercy. The Widow orders liefollowers to shoot, him immediately “Her Son” is a, drama of intense interest, and greatly appealed to tin audience.
The comics are all good. In “The Demon Dog”, Aunty sends her nop hew a present in the shape of a to.v hull terrier. The nephew on receiving same, is disgusted and imbibes toe freely, and sees dogs in every conceivable form, this creating great amusement.
All the scenic. and topical picture? are of the latest, tne picture of the Life Saving Club at Lyall Bay, .Wellington, being very interesting, as also the Opening of the New Town Hall at Auckland by . Lord Islington. Skating sessions will commence shortlyROSINA BUCKMAN’S CONCERT. Residents of Stratford should not miss the opportunity of attending* Miss Buckman’s concert on Thursday. It is unnecessary to remind love’ s of music of the treat in store for them, as Miss Buckman’s musical and artist’c ability has been fully recognised throughout New Zealand and Australia. In the seleetinn of the programme care has been taken to select items suitable to the tastes of every concert giver, and amongst her contributions Miss Buckman will introduce for the first time in New Zealand Alfred Hill’s latest Maori song “Waiata Mari.” The programme will h© found elsewhere.
