At the annual conference of the Swimming Association the delegates decided to recommend the Council to secure representation on the Australasian Council and to exclude from amateur swimming persons taking part in professional football. It was agreed that under the race rules a competitor will be deemed to have finished when he lias touched tlie winning post with one hand clearly out of the water.
