PROPOSED SPECIAL LOAN OF , £14,000. THE Council of the Borough cf Stratford hereby gives Public Notice that it proposes to Borrow by way of Special Loan the stun ol £14,000 at a rate of interest not exceeding £5 per centum per annum, with a Sinking Fund of One Ho'f per centum per annum additional, the whole of the. loan to be repayable, on the First Day of April, 1952, fur tho following purposes:— To acquire by purchase the;whole of the business and undertaking oi the Stratford Electrical Supply Company, Limited, and the entire goodwill thereof, and all the freehold and _ leasehold lands, corporeal and incorporea. rights, easements, and appur tenances, buildings, engines, machinery; poles, lines, plant, stock-in-trade, materials, and other property of the said Company. The Council proposes to pledge as security for the said Loan oi £14,000 and the interest and Sinking Fund thereon, an annu ally recurring Special Rate ol One Penny and One Farthing (lid) in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable pro perty within the said Borough and also all that the business and undertaking, and all those the freehold ana leasehold lands ■ corporeal and incorporeal rights, easements, and appurtenances, buildings engines, machinery, poles, lines, plant stock-in-trade, materials, ntte other property to be acquiree! by the Council from the said Stratford Electrical Suppl;.
