The Taranaki Provincial Bowling Association arc holding a tournament at Paten on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The local club,will send two rinks (skips, Messrs. Jackson and Smart). The Wavcrlcy Patea greens will he used, and a good meeting is expected. Mr. W. Macdonald was to have been one of the players, but owing to the sudden death in Ancle, land of his sister-in-law. Mrs. Contis, wife of Captain Harry Contts, he has decided not to make the trip.
