A preliminary point in connection with the litigation between the Marconi Wireless Co. and the HuddartParker Co., in the form of a summons by defendant to give security for costs and to show cause why tho action should not be stayed until sucii sum is paid or security given on the ground that plaintiff is resident out of Now Zealand, was decided by Mr Justice Chapman to-day. His Honour held that the proper sum to bo deposited or adequately secured by plaintiff was £IOOO and ho made an order accordingly.
