(Received 7, 10.15 a.m.) Perth, February 7. Two native prisoners overcame a warder in the Wyndham gaol and escaped with five other prisoners. , A cyclone struck Kalgoorlie. Scores of dwellings were demolished and hundreds of fences and outhouses were carried away. The electric powerhouse was disabled. Over live hundred are thrown idle. Sydney, February 7. Two suicides and a third serious attempt by means of lysol took place in Sy dn ey y est erda y. A lire aboard the steamer Indraloma between Melbourne and Sydney was extinguished by the crew. Melbourne, February 7. The Minister for Defence has given instructions for the starting of the building of the naval college at Jervis Bay at a cost of between fifty and eighty thousand pounds.
