On Thursday at New Plymouth six adies and eight men from the Strat;ord Club met a similar number from bhe New Plymouth Club. A most enjoyable game resulted, the lawns being in perfect order. Afternoon iea provided by the ladies was much ippreciated. New Plymouth had a .•atller easy win, gaining 19 sets out of Die 22 played, the games resulting, New Plymouth 206, Stratford 121. Derails :
