The selection of the now Society’s first officers is a popular one, and the Society is fortunate in securing Mr A. Henderson to act as secretary, for it was largely due to his efforts that a movement in the direction of banding Scotsmen resident in Taranaki in an Association originated, i and it was certainly due to his good work that the function of last night proved so successful.
