ITALIAN REPULSE

Advices from Tripoli state that throe battalions of Italian infantry xnd a small body of cavalry wore heavily defeated while endeavouring to recapture Sensin', westward of Tripoli, the 'Arabs pursuing them to the outskirts of Tiipoli, expelling them from the entrenchments, where sixty Italian corpses were found.

The newspaper Reichspost suggests that Italy should offer Turkey the bulk of her East African possessions in exchange for Tripoli and Cyrenaica, and so enable Turkey to conclude an honourable peace.
