INQUEST.

H. S. PRIESTLEY’S DEATH. An inquest touching the death of Mr Henry S. Priestley was hold tin's afternoon in the Courthouse before Mr John Leydon, acting-Coroner. 'Flio following jury was empanelled ; Messrs A. W. Reid, J. Masters, E. jOopestako, W. P. Brown, Charles Milner, and Alan Cuthhertsou.

Dr Steven gave evidence that he had carried out a post-mortem examination of the body. In his oo nion death was due to cerebral haemorrhage.

The jury returned a verdict of “death from natural causes.”
