The Reichpost declares tnat the new German Reichstag will be confronted with a further increase in the army’s peace footing and a Navy Bill, providing moderate increase to che armed cruisers and third sea squadron, thus permitting the fourth squadron to remain in the reserve, the other two to remain permanently in the North Sea. A new squadron is to bo stationed at Kiel. Five thousand extra seamen will be required.
