COMMANDANT’ INTERVIEWED. THIS YEAR’S TRAINING. (Per Press 'Wellington, lautm.y 15. To correct any impression which may exist that a whole year’s training will be expected of tiie Territorial Forces during the remainder of the coming year ending on May 31st, General Godley explained to-day that only a proportion of tiie year’s drills ana exercises will be expected up to that date. Artillery camps begin in February. Many infantry regiments will camp before the cud of March. Mounted rides will camp in April and May. General Godloy remarked that more cadet officers were wanted. Officers commanding districts would be glad to hear of any suitable ox-officers or qualified persons willing to become senior cadet officers.
