The relative positions in the places of the fighting platform were altered. White Australia was placed first, then maintenance of the land tax, referenda, New Protection, nationalisation of monopolies, arbitration amendment, navigation, Commonwealth freight and passenger steamers, restriction of public borrowing, general insurance, establishment of sugar refineries. A motion that nobody enrolled under the Defence Act be compelled to bear arms against workers engaged in industrial disputes was carried.
