THE CHINESE REVOLT.
IMPERIALIST TROOPS BEING CONCENTRATED. NEGOTIATIONS WITH RUSSIA. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (United Press Association.) Pekin, January 12. The Shensi and Shansi Revolutionaries have entered Honan. The Government, realising that 1 ekin and the Kaukau railway are menaced, are concentrating troops from Hanyang and Hantau to attack the revolutionaries. Owing to the internal troubles, negotiations with Russia over Mongolia have been transferred to St. Petersburg. It is understood China is prooared to discuss the railway proposals. Put will not recognise the justice of the other claims. CHINA REPEATEDLY WARNED BY RUSSIA. REGARDING MONGOLIA. (Received 13, 9.10 a.m.) London, January 12. The “Times” Pekin correspondent states that Russia repeadly warned China respecting Mongolia and counselled an agreement with the Mongols on the points contained in the recent note. Russia also advised China to hold a consultation with Russia before a new. policy was adopted.
