Acting-Detective' Carney identified the 1 body as that of a seaman named Campbell, belonging to the steamer Wakatu, who was missing last Thursday, 4th iilst. Detective Carney was speaking to him that night, and he appeared to all well. He was then wear ng a coat, which lias since been found in a right-of-way off Norwich Quay. There were no marks of violence about the body, and it appeared as if the man had fallen into tae water from one of the wharves and was drowned.
