TOUENEY AT AUCKLAND. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, December 31. Tiie Auckland Provincial .Howling Association’s annual pennant tournament was concluded yesterday. In tlio semi-finals, Harvey's rink (Devonport) beat Vealcy’s (Ponsonby) by ‘2l to 17, and Armstrong’s (Waikino) beat Baildou (drey Lynn) by 23 to 9. jno final was won by Devonport, who beat Waikino by 28 to LI. SOUTHEEN TOUENAM ENT. Dunedin, December 31. The bowling tournament was continued yesterday in splendid weather. Play in the doubles was commenced, nine greens being utilised, and good progress is being made.
