9? PRODUCE .MARKETS. Following is the report (dated November 9th) received by Mr Newton King from Ji. and W. Davidson, Glasgow : Continental Rutters.—The market this week is distinctly better, and stocks are well (Seared. There is no doubt but strictly choicest quality is i in short supply. We accordingly i look for brisk - market during the next ! lew weeks with slightly higher prices. Our telegraphic advue from Copenhagen yesterday slated that the market there had an improving ten- | deucy, and the quotation to-day lias I been declared unchang'd. Danish and I Swedish.—The total arrivals of Danish this week' show an increase of 5)2!i I (risks. There was a hatter demand, : and all lead qualities were rapidly | cleared at about 2s under last week’s I prices. We quote choicest goods, I ‘his to Dlls. to 110 s. French.—The market continues linn, but there is very little trade passing. Irish Creamery Butter. — Hie make is steadily decreasing, the shipments tiiis week being exceptionally small. For choicest quality there has been a brisk demand at somewhat linacr prices. We quote choicest salted, 12Ss to Pills, choicest uusalled 130 s to Phis. Considerable stocks are still on hand of stale and secondary goods, and these continue to be very difficult to move. Prices range 100 s to 110 s. Colonial Butters. —Australian: Arrivals this week arc again heavier, comprising the s.s. Malwa, with about 21,000 boxes, and the s.s. Essex with Mo boxes. The market opened linn with fairly good demand lor all descriptions. Wo quote choicest salted 120 sto 128 s with one or two favourite factories commanding Is more, choicest unsaltcd continues to bo somewhat scarce, and is readily cleared at from 130 sto 1325. Choice goods are obtainable at 120 s to 1245, with lower grades being quoted 112 s to 118 s. New Zealand.—The s.s. Ruapehu, with fully 6000 boxes, is now discharged. There has l>een a brisk active demand, and all goods have been readily cleared, choicest commanding 130 s, exceptionally 131 s to 1325. Imports to the United Kingdom.— The total figures up to 4th November of this year, and for the corresponding period of 1908, 1900, 1910 are as followsl9oß, 3,576, 812 cwt; 1909, 3,457,252 cwt; 1910, 3,618,713 cwt; 1911, 3,711,650 cwt. Canadian.—The market continues fairly firm at unaltered prices, namely, 68s to 70s for choicest white and coloured. New Zealand.---The s.s. Taimii, due London 16th, has 3000 or 4000 crates on boiird. This is the first arrival of new seasons. No prices so far have been quoted ex this boat. Imports on the United Kingdom.— The total figures up to 4th November of this year, and for the corresponding period of 1908, 1909, 1910 are as follows:—1908, 1,951,371 cwt; 1909. 2,013,403 cwt; 1910, 2,025.403 ewi; 1911, 2,039,004 cwt.
