breach of promise of marriage brought by Miss D’nan, the C • urt n.«..rded -{/ £270 damages and costs £4B 12s sd. This amount was still owing, and Miss Dinan was his only creditor. He had offered Miss Dinan £l5O in settlement of the Court award, but she had declined to accept it. The bankrupt was closely questioned as to a certain deed of trust in which he held an interest, with other members of his family, and the Assignee agreed to the creditors’ request to put in a claim for one-third of the trust property, so that it might be contested in the Supreme Court.
