PENALTIES; The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry 71bs penalty ; and for every additional race a further penalty of 71bs, or, if lie thinks fit, the handicapper may re-handicap the winner of any race after the declaration of weights. Weights for tfeyear-olds 7st 7lbs; 3-year-olds, Bsb; 4-year-olds and upwards, Sst 71bs. Entrance 80s; 41 furlongs. 3. Stratford Gup Handicap, of 125 sovs (open) ; second horse to receive 20 sovs, and third horse 10 sovs from the stakes. Nomination 10s, acceptance 40s; 11 miles. 4. Midhirst Hack Handicap, of 80 sovs ; second horse to receive 10 sovs, and tin T horse 5 sovs from the stakes. Nomination 10s, acceptance 80s; 1 mile. \ 5. Ohura Hurdle Hack Handicap, of 100 sovs; second horse to recent 15 sovs, and third horse 5 sovs from the stakes. Winner of any race to carry 9st. Entrance 80s; 41 furlongs. 3. Dominion Handicap, of 100 sov(open); second horse to receive 10 sovs, and third horse 5 sovs from the stakes. Nomination 10s, acceptance 80s; 6 furlongs. 7. Strathmore Hack Handicap, of 60 sovs ; second horse to receive 10 sovs; and third horse 5 sofs from the stakes. Nomination 10s, acceptance 80s; 5 furlongs. 3. Toko Welter Hack Handicap, of 70 sovs; second horse to receive 10 sovs, and third horse 5 sovs from the stakes. Minimum weight Sst. Nomination 10s, acceptance 80s; 7 furlongs. DEFINITION OF A HACK. No horse shall start In any hack race which has at any time prior to the time of entry, won a race of the value of £IOO to tho winner or races to the aggregate value of £250 to the winner.
