The combined auctioneers and merchants of Stratford publish a notice in reference to Christmas and New Year holidays in tins issue. Particulas appear in another column. Messrs \V. and E. Brocklebank have on hand a large assortment of bedroom, dining and drawingroom suites. Your inspection is invited. Messrs Matthews and Bennett will hold a sale of mixed cattle at the Inglewood yards to-morrow. To-morrow the N.Z.L. and M.A. Co., Ltd., will hold a stock sale at their Eltliam yards. Mr Harry Masters, bookseller, stationer, and fancy goods dealer, Broadway, has a large selection of toys, presents, cards, and books, etc., now on view at his premises near Mr Newton King’s auction rooms. A price list of a few special lines is advertised on an inset circulated with this issue. Mr John D. Hcaly invites tenders for alterations,, etc., to Mr F. W. Wake’s premises in Broadway. A new business has been started in Stratford in the shape of a motor garage, the proprietors being Messrs A. ,Y Davison and Co., and the premises being situated in Broadway North, next to His Majesty’s Theatre. Mr Davison has had long experience in the business and promises' every satisfaction in any work entrusted to him. A speciality is made of vulcanising and overhauling. The garage is on the telephone (number 115) and should thus be highly convenient for car owners.
