Quartermaster-Sergeant F. J. 'Collins arrived in Stratford on Saturday to take up tlio duties of Regimental Q.M.S. in tlio Taranaki group. The “.Yew Zealand Observer” Christmas annual for 1911 is to hand. As usual it comes as a welcome reminder of the festive season and is from cover to cover full of smart things. The “Free Lance” Christmas annual is another budget of good tilings to hand. ]( is probably the best annual the “Free Lance” olllcq has yet turned out, and ought to b"e in great demand.
