DRUIDIC.

The half-yearly meeting of the Stratford Lodge of Druids was held on Tuesday evening last, when Bro. Geo. Pugh, A.D., presided. Bro. L. G. Beamish, D.P., was present for the purpose of installing the new set of officers in their respective positions, the following brethren having been elected:—Arch Druid, Bro. Gee. Licldington; Vice-Arch, Bro. S. McMillan ; secretary, Bro. Bundle (reelected) ; treasurer, Bro. H. Burmester (re-elected) ; 1.G., Bro. T. W. Smith; 0.G., Bro. C. Liddington; A.D.B.’s, Bros. P. Russ and J. Weston; V.A.B.’s, Bros. Rowe and Hogg. At.the conclusion of ledge business the members adjourned to Mrs. Brown’s rooms, where a first-class table had been prepared for thorn. A toast list touching loyal and Druidic connections was submitted and duly honoured. Bro. Beamish, cn behalf of the Stratford Lodge, made a presentation of a framed P.A. diploma, to Bro. J. W. B. Jones, for his splendid services during his term as Arch Druid, , The singing of “Auld Lang Syne” at about midnight closed another prosperous Druidic period.
