Borough Stakes, of 55 sovs; second horse to receive 10 sovs, and third horse 5 sovs from the stakes. Open to all horses that have never won a race of 15 sovs at the time of start. Weights for 2-year-olds 7st 71bs; 3-year-olds, Sst; 4-year-olds and upwards, Bst 71bs. Entrance 30s; 41 furlongs. 3. Stratford Cup Handicap, cf 125 sevs (open) ; second horse to receive 20 sovs, and third horse 10 sovs from the stakes. Nomination 10s, acceptance 40s; miles. 4. Midhirst Hack Handicap, of 80 sovs; second horse to receive 10 sovs, and third horse 5 sovs from the stakes. Nomination 10s, acp.9pt-, ance 30s; 1 mile. 5. Ohura Hurdle Hack Handicap, of 100 sovs; second horse to receive 15 sovs, and third horse 5 sovs from the stakes. Nomination 10s, acceptance 30s; 7 furlongs. DEFINITION OF A HACK. No horse shall start in any hack race which lias at any time prior to the time of entry, won a race of tiro value of £IOO to the winner or races to the aggregate value of £250 to the winner.
