London, December 8. Ilev. Silvester Horn, at the Free Church Conference at Anglesey, declared the Non-Conformists regarded the Church of England as a pagan institution. He would oppose the Disestablishment Bill if the Anglicans were to retain the cathedrals. London, December 10. The Rev. Horne denies the statement attributed to him that NonConformists regarded the Church of England as pagan. He explains that he referred to an ancient canon as a pagan regulation, and adds: “All Non-Conformists honour the Episcopal Church.” London December 10. The jury disagreed in the La Milo case and Easton was discharged.
